Nerd Lunch 182 | Star Wars Empire Strikes Back Drill Down

Nerd Lunch 178 | Star Wars (1977) Drill Down

Kay and Michael returned to help form the Nerd Lunch Star Wars panel and talk all about the first Star Wars movie. We discussed the first time we watched it, our favorite characters, and all of our favorite scenes. We even discussed things we don’t like and all the changes made for the Special Editions and later for the Blu-Ray.

Nerd Lunch 157 | Drill Down – The Wrath of Khan

In the episode, Michael returned for a drill down on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Conventional wisdom is that this is the best Star Trek movie, but our discussion wasn't 100% heart-eyes.

Nerd Lunch 154: Favorite Movie Scores

Inspired by a Fourth Chair Carryover Question from Rob, Nerd Lunch invited him back to talk about their favorite action, horror, drama, comedy, animation, and sci-fi movie scores and composers.

And since Michael had been on Episode 153 talking about Star Wars, this marks the second time that Rob had to answer one of Michael's Carryover Questions. It went much better this time.

Nerd Lunch 153 | Setting the Table on Star Wars

Though they'd certainly talked about Star Wars during the previous three years on the show, the Nerd Lunch crew had never really had a deep conversation on the series as a whole. So CT and Pax welcomed Michael back to the show with new guest Kay to do just that. We talked about our favorite and least-favorite of the movies, characters, ships, aliens, and more.

Nerd Lunch 134 | Batman 75th Anniversary

Batman turned 75 years old in 2014, so like they'd done for Episode 90 in which they talked about Superman on his 75th birthday, Nerd Lunch dedicated an episode to all things Batman. Joining them was Jay Ryan and returning from the Superman discussion: Michael May.

We discussed Batman across all media, starting with comics and moving to movies and TV. It was a landmark episode for Nerd Lunch in that it was over two hours long; unprecedented for them at the time. It was a great, thorough discussion.
