195 | Star Trek: Discovery, Season 4

Michael, Rob, and Delaney Graham continue their Star Trek Trek with season 4 of Discovery. Find out what we thought of the butterfly people, the new Federation President, all that jargon (The DMA! Species 10-C! The Orb! The Hyperfield!), and the most contentious element of the season: Zora.

178 | Picard, Season 3 (Initial Reactions)

Michael and Rob reunite with their old friend Carlin Trammel to talk in a very spoilery way about the recent, third season of Star Trek: Picard. This isn't part of After Lunch's official Star Trek Trek discussions, because those won't get to Picard for a long time. We just couldn't wait that long to talk about the season.

And again, lots of spoilers in this episode.

121 | Star Trek: Discovery, Seasons 1 and 2

Michael, Rob, and Delaney continue trekking through Star Trek with the first couple of seasons of Star Trek: Discovery. How does it fit into other Star Trek continuity? How comprehensible are the plots? How good are the characters? It's not quite a five-year journey to uncover the answers, but it's close in this extra-long episode.

104 | Holodeck Party

Michael and Rob welcome back Corinna Bechko and Ben Graham to adapt books and movies into Star Trek holonovels. Each panelist picks a character from the source material that they want to play and then invites Star Trek characters to take on other roles. But in true Star Trek fashion, everything does not go smoothly on the holodeck and strange glitches occur to complicate and change the stories.

Opening and closing music by Andrew Allen.

38 | Enterprise, Season 2

The AfterLUNCH Star Trek crew return to debrief about the second season of Enterprise. Delaney, Evan, Michael, and Rob discuss the continuation of the Temporal Cold War, the introduction of the Romulans, the return of the Borg, and all the other plot developments. They also update their opinions about the crew and of course discuss favorite and least-favorite episodes.

28 | Enterprise, Season 1

Having discussed humanity's first contact with the Vulcans, our Star Trek Trek panel reconvenes to talk about the souring of that relationship and how it affects Earth's first human-populated mission into deep space. Delaney, Evan, Michael, and Rob talk about how the first season of Enterprise fits into continuity while also getting around to what they think of the various characters and episodes.

24 | Star Trek Trek 1 - First Contact

Michael, Rob, Evan, and Delaney Graham begin their journey through the various movies and TV shows of Star Trek, in chronological order. In this first episode, they discuss humanity's introduction to the larger galaxy in 1996's First Contact. It's a controversial place to start since it's neither the first adventure of the time travelers who are trying to protect the historic meeting, nor is it the earliest time period that these travelers have visited. So our panel also discusses other Star Trek movies and TV episodes in which Starfleet crews (and the occasional Ferengi) go back in time.

Nerd Lunch 241 | Star Trek III Drill Down

As the finale in Nerd Lunch's month-long series of episodes focusing on Star Trek, Pax and CT welcomed back Rob as well as John Vanover to search for answers in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. Just how old is the Enterprise? Why are the Grissom’s cushions pink? And just how pon farr did Saavik have to go with Spock?

Also, this is like the third time Rob had to answer one of Michael's Fourth Chair Carryover Questions.

Nerd Lunch 157 | Drill Down – The Wrath of Khan

In the episode, Michael returned for a drill down on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Conventional wisdom is that this is the best Star Trek movie, but our discussion wasn't 100% heart-eyes.
